What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture or CSA is a locally-based model for food production and distribution. CSA members purchase a "share" or "subscription" for a season's worth of farm produce. By paying in advance for their share of produce, customers commit to supporting the farm for the season, helping the farmer cover operation and production costs.  In return, members recieve a weekly share of the freshest quality produce.

Joining a CSA is a great way to eat locally and seasonally while supporting your local economy and reducing your consumption of conventional and factory-farmed food.
